As of 25 May, Luigi Marconi is the new President of Cocif.

Under the Cooperative’s new governance structure, he will work alongside Gabriele Gardini, Samuele Maraldi and Alessandro Montanari, who have been appointed General Managers.

The new structure is designed to ensure continuity while recognising and building on the expertise developed within Cocif. The transition follows the conclusion of Luca Benedettini’s term of office, as he retires after seventeen years as President.

A forward-looking
choice

A forward-looking choice, firmly rooted in the experience developed within the organisation.

Luigi Marconi holds a degree in law and has worked at Cocif for twenty-nine years as in-house legal counsel. He has also served on the Board of Directors for eleven years, almost without interruption.

His professional background has given him an in-depth understanding of the Cooperative’s structure, its people and the dynamics of the industry.

His appointment as President therefore ensures continuity of leadership at Cocif, entrusting the role to someone who has grown professionally within the organisation and has long played an active part in company life.
Cocif has always operated in the door and window industry and is one of Italy’s leading companies in the sector in terms of production capacity, workforce and turnover.
The Cooperative serves a broad customer base in Italy and on international markets.

A tribute
to Luca
Benedettini

At the time of the presidential transition, Luigi Marconi wished to acknowledge the valuable contribution of his predecessor:

“Cocif would like to thank Luca Benedettini for his unwavering commitment
and for the experience and professionalism he demonstrated while leading
Cocif through years marked by both hardship
and outstanding achievement.

In particular, during the years of severe crisis in the construction industry,
and later throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,
Benedettini kept a steady hand on the helm, steering the company
through those turbulent times and restoring it
to the strength of its best years”.

Best wishes
for the future!

The new governance structure builds on the work carried out in previous years and takes it forward under the leadership of professionals with an in-depth knowledge of Cocif, its organisation and its target market.

This transition brings together continuity, internal expertise and a strong sense of responsibility for the future of the Cooperative.

Cocif’s members and employees extend their best wishes to Luigi Marconi, Gabriele Gardini, Samuele Maraldi and Alessandro Montanari as they take on their new roles.
